relying on large industrial partnerships with companies like ENGIE, Saint-Gobain, Linkcity – Les Fabriques – Bouygues, Orange, and more.

IN THEIR OWN WORDS

Nicolas BOUZOU
Asterès founder (2016 competition sponsor)

The Med’INNOVANT  innovation competition makes the
Aix-Marseille-Provence metropolitan area much more attractive. In this area, Euroméditerranée’s EcoCité offers a unique experimental space where innovative project developers can test, implement and showcase ideas related to community living, habitat, environment, mobility, safety and contactless and connected object technology.
This competition enables the Euroméditerrannée Urban Development Authority and its network of businesses to pursue green business initiatives and recruit new talent.

Alexandre NOBLET
Lemon Tri Director (2014 winner)

Since winning the prize, we have started commercial negotiations with major financial players in the Marseille area but the decision-making process has been long. However, we have successfully expanded to other cities in the Rhone corridor such as Avignon, Valence and Saint-Etienne. Winning the Med’INNOVANT  prize made it possible for us to participate in MedCop21, which was a major showcase for a small company like ours.
Since receiving our prize, we have also focused on developing new markets such as shopping centres and public municipal facilities.

Thierry COURBON
F-REG SAS Associate Director (2015 winner)

When we signed up for the Med’INNOVANT  competition, our main goal was to communicate through this competition and to contact Euroméditerranée development industry players with the goal of piloting our innovative solution in a neighbourhood that was being transformed.
We were selected as a winner, which put us in direct contact with the main developers in the area and with Marseille metropolitan area government entities with which we worked closely on a development project.
Beyond the direct benefit of helping us continue to grow, this prize improved our traction with investors and helped us complete our fundraising.
